Love It or List It NZ is back for season 2 on TVNZ 1 on Sunday nights at 7.30pm, with the same episode on TVNZ+, and the Freeview guide lists the next one, “The Driver Whānau”, for Sunday 8 November. The season opened on Sunday 1 November, according to 1News, and TVNZ+’s catalogue has that first episode, “The Gibson Whānau”, available from 7.30pm the same night. What time is Love It or List It NZ on TVNZ 1?
7.30pm on Sundays, running to 8.30pm in the guide. TVNZ’s own listing for the show carries the line “New episodes Sundays at 7.30pm”, and the Freeview guide we read on Thursday 5 November, around 10.30am, open from that day to Thursday 12 November, has the show on TVNZ 1 twice on Sunday 8 November: 4.00pm to 5.00pm, “The Gibson Whānau”, labelled Season Premiere and rated G, and 7.30pm to 8.30pm, “The Driver Whānau”, rated PG. Those are its only listings for the New Zealand version in the eight days.
The 7.30pm episode follows Country Calendar at 7pm, so the TVNZ 1 evening runs 1News at Six, the farm, then the house. TVNZ’s other Sunday property programme, Moving Houses, has its own page; check which name the guide prints before you sit down, because both are hour-long and both are TVNZ 1.

The episode number comes from TVNZ+’s catalogue, which has The Gibson Whānau as episode 1 of season 2 and, as of Thursday 5 November, no episode 2 yet. The guide prints titles for the show but no numbers.
Is the Sunday 4pm showing a repeat?
It reads like one. The 4pm listing on Sunday 8 November is “The Gibson Whānau” with the Season Premiere label, and that is the episode TVNZ+ has carried since Sunday 1 November. The guide doesn’t mark it as a repeat and TVNZ doesn’t say either way, so we call it the opening episode shown again rather than a new one. The new episode that night is the 7.30pm one.

TVNZ+. Its catalogue lists two seasons: season 1, six episodes from “The Smiths” to “The Asaharas”, each released on a Sunday at 7.30pm from 3 August to 7 September 2025, and season 2 with episode 1 so far. Alex Walls and Paul Glover. 1News describes Walls as an interior designer and The Block NZ winner who is determined to help the homeowners fall back in love with their home, and Glover as a former actor, now a real estate agent, who believes the perfect property could be waiting around the corner. That is the whole format: Kiwi homeowners at a crossroads decide whether to transform the home they have or find somewhere new.

Not yet confirmed. TVNZ hasn’t published a count, its catalogue holds one season 2 episode as of Thursday 5 November, and the guide reaches only Thursday 12 November. Season 1 ran six Sundays on TVNZ+, from 3 August to 7 September 2025, which is the only pattern we have. We’ll add the number and the final date here once TVNZ lists them.
