TVNZ's show page says "New episodes Sundays", and the season kept that slot from Sunday 13 September to the finale.

When we first wrote this page TVmaze titled the sixth episode "Eye-witness", while the Freeview guide listed the Sunday 18 October episode as "A Shared Madness" with this blurb: "Anais is forced into a deadly battle for survival as Sam and Lena prepare to display her for their final masterpiece." TVNZ+’s catalogue, read on Thursday 5 November, also calls episode 6 "A Shared Madness", so that is the title in the table; the TVmaze name didn’t hold.

The show's TVNZ+ page listed two seasons when we read it on Tuesday 13 October, and its catalogue still listed two seasons, ten episodes in all, on Thursday 5 November. TVmaze has season 1 as four episodes that first went out on TVNZ 1 on Sundays from 3 November 2024, so a catch-up from the start is a short watch.
What is season 2 about?
TVNZ's description of the series: Detective Anais Mallory returns home to Queenstown and is faced with shocking homicides, while disturbing echoes from her own past emerge, and the series is made with the support of NZ On Air. TVmaze's note for the season premiere says Anais risks everything with an unofficial investigation into Maja's murder, and the episode 5 note says a breakthrough connects that murder to a series of display killings across Europe.

Not yet confirmed. TVNZ+’s catalogue listed two seasons when we read it on Thursday 5 November, and the Freeview guide for Thursday 5 to Thursday 12 November has no A Remarkable Place to Die on any channel. If TVNZ announces one, the date will go in this page's first paragraph.
