The Traitors NZ Winners: Every Season, Every Prize, and How Chloe Withrington Won Season 3
Chloe Withrington is the latest winner of The Traitors NZ in New Zealand, taking home NZ$75,000 as a Traitor in the Season 3 final on Monday 29 June on Three, and all 10 episodes of that season are free to rewatch on ThreeNow. She's the second Traitor in a row to win the local version, after Bailey Kench walked off with $73,000 in 2024.
Three seasons have aired since 2023, with no season at all in 2025. A fourth is not yet confirmed.

Paul Henry hosted the first two seasons. Madeleine Sami took over for 2026, and Taskmaster fans will know her as the runner-up on Taskmaster NZ's first season back in 2020.
How much did each winner actually take home?
It depends which side they played. The rules are blunt: if every player left at the end is a Faithful, the pot gets split evenly, but if a single Traitor survives the final banishment, that Traitor takes the lot.
That's why Season 1's NZ$59,100 went two ways. Reeve and Smith each had $29,550 on paper, our division of the total. Wikipedia puts the maximum that year at $70,000, so the group banked roughly 84% of what was on offer.
Kench and Withrington didn't have to share. Kench's $73,000 was the whole pot in 2024. Withrington's $75,000 came out of a possible $100,000, the "up to" figure ThreeNow still quotes in its episode 1 synopsis, so the Season 3 players earned 75% of the maximum through their missions.
Put the three together and The Traitors NZ has paid out $207,100 across its run. Four people have won so far. Only two were Faithfuls, and both came from that shared first-season win.
How Chloe Withrington won Season 3
She started as a Faithful. Wikipedia's season notes say Keanu, a Traitor since day one, offered her an ultimatum in episode 9: join him or be murdered. She joined.
By the final, five players were left. Violette, Debbie and Maruia were Faithfuls; Keanu and Chloe were the Traitors. Keanu was voted out at the final round table, leaving four women for the last banishment. Maruia then voted off Debbie, believing she was the remaining Traitor, a move The Spinoff's finale review said effectively cost her the game. Maruia Jensen, a teacher from Tokoroa, finished as runner-up.
Behind the scenes, this was a comeback season. Wikipedia says the show was dropped after 2024, then revived in 2025, and The Spinoff reported it was the first season to get public money from NZ On Air and Screen Canterbury. Filming returned to Castle Claremont near Timaru, the Canterbury location first used in 2024.
Viewing was down on the previous run, at least early on. The Spinoff reported 446,000 ThreeNow streams for Season 3 before the finale numbers were counted, against a cumulative 657,000 for Season 2. Season 2 did have two extra episodes, though.
Where can I rewatch The Traitors NZ?
ThreeNow, free, but only Season 3. Its show page lists all 10 episodes, from Sunday 31 May to Monday 29 June, released in Sunday and Monday pairs across five weeks.
Runtimes range from 49 minutes to 1 hour 4 minutes for the finale. We added them up: the whole season comes to 8 hours 55 minutes, a comfortable two-night binge.
Seasons 1 and 2 aren't there. According to Wikipedia, both were taken off ThreeNow on 30 September 2024, so the table above is the easiest way to catch up on how those finals ended.
Is there a Season 4 of The Traitors NZ?
Not yet confirmed. TVmaze has a placeholder for a fourth season with no dates, and we couldn't find any announcement from Three of a cast, host or start date.
Past timing won't help much. Season 1 started in August 2023 and Season 2 in the middle of 2024, and then almost two years passed before Season 3 arrived in late May 2026. All three aired in the middle of the year, but the 2025 gap shows the show hasn't kept to a yearly slot. We'll add a row here when Three names a date.
